About Halfload Hauling

A local crew with one truck and a broom

Dan Okafor started Halfload Hauling in Millbrook with one truck and a simple rule: tell people the price before you lift anything. Today it’s Dan and one helper, the same white truck and a lot of repeat customers around town. We sort as we load, drop usable things at the charity shop and leave every space swept.

How we work

We take it apart

Beds, desks and sheds come apart on site, so nothing scrapes your walls on the way out.

We sweep up

Every job ends with a broom, so there’s no dusty outline where the sofa used to be.

We’re insured

Our work is insured. Ask and we’ll send the details before the job.

We text on the way

You get a text when we leave the job before yours, so you’re not waiting all day.

After the truck leaves

Everything comes back to our yard on Kiln Street first. We sort it the same afternoon into three runs: the charity shop, the recycler and the transfer station. Changed your mind about something? Call us that day and we can usually set it aside.
